By using fortis.clinic, completing the pain-pattern assessment, or purchasing the Foundations Programme or 1:1 coaching, you agree to these terms.
Fortis provides:
Fortis is a coaching and education service grounded in pain science. It is not a medical practice, and nothing provided constitutes diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice — see Section 4.
The Foundations Programme is a digital product delivered automatically to your email, typically within the hour of purchase.
Because it is a digital product delivered immediately, the Foundations Programme is non-refundable once delivered. Under UK/EU consumer law, the standard 14-day "cooling off" cancellation right for digital content does not apply once delivery has begun with your express consent and acknowledgment that you lose that cancellation right. At checkout you are asked to actively confirm: "I understand this is a digital product delivered immediately, and I waive my 14-day cancellation right by proceeding." Purchases are not completed until this box is checked.
If you believe you were charged in error, or the file you received is corrupted/undeliverable, contact hello@fortis.clinic and we will investigate and resolve it (including re-sending the file or, at our discretion, a refund for a genuine delivery failure — this is separate from a change-of-mind refund, which is excluded per the above).
The £500 deposit and £500 activation fee for 1:1 coaching are refundable as described at checkout and on the pricing section of the site: the deposit is refunded in full if we determine coaching isn't a fit for you, and the activation fee is refunded in full if we're not a good fit on the intake call. The ongoing £1,000/month (or $1,500/month US/Canada) coaching fee is billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively refund the current billing period unless required by law.
Fortis Clinic is an education and coaching service, not a medical provider. Nothing on this site, in the quiz results, the free 7-day plan, the Foundations Programme PDF, or 1:1 coaching constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified physician, physiotherapist, or other healthcare professional.
Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with questions about a medical condition, and never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or received from Fortis. If you experience sudden leg weakness, saddle-area numbness, loss of bladder or bowel control, unexplained fever, unexplained weight loss, or any other symptom that could indicate a medical emergency, seek immediate medical attention.
1:1 coaching is limited-intake: we only accept clients we're confident we can help, assessed via a case review and intake call after the deposit is paid. If we determine we're not a fit, your deposit is refunded in full and no further obligation exists on either side. Coaching content is educational and behavioural in nature (movement, sleep, stress, pacing) and does not replace medical care you're already receiving.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fortis Clinic's total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the service (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
All content on fortis.clinic and in any programme or protocol you receive — text, structure, methodology, and design — is owned by Fortis Clinic and licensed to you for personal use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly republish it without our written permission.
To deliver the free plan and any purchased programme, to run 1:1 coaching if you sign up, to send you relevant follow-up emails (which you can unsubscribe from at any time), and to improve the service. Our legal basis is your consent (quiz/marketing emails) and contract performance (delivering what you paid for).
Third-party processors we use to run the service: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database/hosting), Anthropic (generates your personalised plan content from your quiz answers), Resend (email delivery), Kit (email marketing/sequences). We do not sell your data.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@fortis.clinic. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority — for Ireland, the Data Protection Commission; for the UK, the ICO.
For as long as you're an active lead or client, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, and support purposes, or until you ask us to delete it (subject to records we're legally required to keep, e.g. payment records).
Your quiz answers are automatically screened for symptoms that may indicate a medical emergency. If flagged, you will not receive an automated plan — a message will direct you to seek appropriate care, and the flag is reviewed manually rather than acted on by AI alone.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
